"Very impressive villa, amazing grounds and pool, the villa is very clean, large windows with tons of natural light. It’s very well equipped, beautiful linens and lots of room for groups. We stayed as a family of 9 and it was absolutely perfect. We all loved the morning breakfast & delivery of freshly baked goods!"

"The house is a beautifully redone schist structure in the center of Talasnal. All the comforts of home; nicely stocked kitchen, great fireplace (heated the whole house), comfortable beds, and nice hot showers. Great hikes just walking out the front door…although we did get lost the first day. Haha. Both Joao and Alda were super responsive and so helpful. Even offering to pick us up in Candal after our very long misplaced hike. Definitely purchase any supplies before arriving as the tiny Mercado...

"José et sa femme sont d'une grande gentillesse. La maison dispose de tout le necessaire et la piscine est super. Nous avons passé une super semaine et l'emplacement est central pour visiter pleins de choses autour. Nous recommanderons cette maison a nos amis et famille les yeux fermés."

"Such a peaceful location and Helga was a wonderful, helpful host. If it is going to be very hot I would recommend bringing a fan, but the pool was also very lovely to cool off in. Overall a very nice stay!"

"Wir hatten ein paar wunderschöne Tage in dieser voll ausgestatteten Villa. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Jeden Morgen wurde uns frisches Brot vorbei gebracht. Einziges kleines Manko: Im Haus ist nur ein Badezimmer, die zweite Dusche und Toilette ist am Pool. Leider waren die Temperaturen nicht mehr dafür geeignet, dass man outdoor hätte duschen können."

Die Matratzen sind sehr hart, so dass wir versucht haben, die Härte durch Unterlegen von Bettdecken zu mildern. 02. "The house is lovely. We particularly loved the outside kitchen, dining and lounge area and we used this a great deal. The pool was also great. The house is in a good location in a small hamlet but there are no facilities there so you do need to drive everywhere. It is about 20min drive to Coimbra which is a very pretty old city and definitely worth a visit. The Atlantic coast is about 45min drive where there are beautiful long sandy beaches. The only downside for us was the proximity to the A13...

"My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The negative was that do to the fires the amounts around the property were burned and the property was a bit farther from civilization then originally thought. However the home itself was very clean and secure."

"Poor bathroom conditions. Hot water and cool water from two isolated sources on the sink. Toilet cover had a crack that pinched guest’s skin. Using the shower in the narrow tub floods the bathroom. Breakfast was not included although it was supposed to be, according to reservation. Blanket was heavy and dusty."

"Looks good on .the photos but must rank as totally unsuitable as a holiday home once anybody actually finds the place. Too many failings to mention."

"Propriétaire sympa, à l'écoute et disponible, toujours prêt pour compléter ce qu'il peut manquer dans le gîte. Donne volontiers quelques légumes ou fruits de son jardin. Propreté à améliorer. Gérant immobilier disponible mais il faut aller chercher l'information. Dans l'ensemble, je recommande ce gîte."

"L'impression est positive: communication, amabilité, équipements, emplacement. Un point négatif toutefois: contrairement à l'annonce il n'y a qu'une salle d'eau (la deuxième pièce est constitué d'un WC avec un lavabo) et non deux ce qui aurait été un problème si nous étions venus à 4 avec un enfant. Pour finir nos hôtes ont été charmants et attentionnés."

"We had a fantastic stay in Pombal. The house is just amazing as it foresees in everything a large group can dream of. Lots of space to preserve intimacy while being all together. Kitchen will all possible furniture and outside barbecue. Lots of entertainment opportunities inside and outside: amazing man's cave with darts, bar, pool table and en extra waouw cinema room, pentanque field, soccer, volleyball and of course a really nice swimming pool.
