I’d like to say that your staff was excellent, the location is great. With that said it’s hard for me to complain because I don’t want my complaints to reflect poorly on your staff.
But my family had a pretty terrible experience and I am glad that we spent most of our time exploring the city rather than staying in our room.
To begin, I purchased two rooms through Expedia, and when I did an online request and multiple phone calls directly to Hyatt to request that our two rooms be close together I was told that I only had purchased 1 room. No one ever thought to ask if I had put it under another name, so I spent hours trying to figure this out, until Expedia finally said, “Oh yeah, just give them the other name too.”
When we arrived we found a really odd stain on the couch in our room. We looked it over and it appeared that it had been cleaned as best as housekeeping could. That night at approximately 8:30 we began to fold the couch out to put our 4 and 6 year olds to bed, and we discovered a large area underneath the cushions that had been soiled, possibly blood, and it matched the visible stain on the couch. Your staff was excellent and offered us a different room, but it was a floor below the guests we were traveling with, and would have made it impossible for us to responsibly spend time with them while our children slept. That night we chose to sleep 4 people to a king size bed.
