About 25 miles north of Porto Levante lies the city of Venice.

Lido of Venice is only 25 miles north of Porto Levante. Be sure to stop at St. Mark's Basilica and Rialto Bridge, some of the renowned attractions here.

Let the sun's rays shine on your face and the ocean caress your feet. A wonderful place to start is Karpinjan Beach, 60 miles to the east, or Tropicana Beach, 60 miles to the south.

This region features some fabulous natural spaces. Two attractions close by to Porto Levante are Dune Fossili di Massenzatica (15 miles away) and San Michele Island (30 miles away).

Enter a different world just minutes away at Coastal Botanical Gardens in Puerto Calero.

For a different experience, head to Venice Plaza and St. Francis of Assisi Parish. They're located in Porto Viro, some 4 miles away from Porto Levante. Rosolina is another option to consider. It's about 5 miles away, and is the location of Bagni Capannina and Sabbia e Sale Feeling Beach.

Rosapineta, a regional hub, is another popular place to visit. It's about 7 miles from Porto Levante and features a bunch of decent things to do and see, including Astoria Village, Museum of Adriatic Zoology Giuseppe Olivi and Porto di Chioggia. Bagni Astoria and Bagni Europa & Acquaparco Idrofollie are some other places if you have enough time.

The food in this area has its own aromas and flavors, so be sure to delve into the area's menus.

Eat like the locals by ordering polenta (cornmeal porridge) and bigołi in salsa (pasta anchovy and onion sauce).
