We had such an enjoyable experience staying at Three Chimneys Inn. It was nice to be able to walk around the area, going to a restaurant and walking by the river to learn the history of the area. The staff was very friendly as well.
Great location to UNH for campus. Walk to football stadium was easy and only takes about 20 minutes. Peaceful setting. Easy and no additional fee for parking. Was greated by team of staff who walked us to our room.
Things to improve: Please make sure the room is clean. Ours was dusty in the bathroom and main room. Cobwebs on ceiling, in bathroom and next to bed with a spider on it. Queen bed mattress was bouncy.
After driving for nearly 6 hours, We arrived very late, as the kitchen was closing. The staff was so accommodating they asked the kitchen to stay open for us. The food and service was great! The property is beautiful and so close to UNH.
What a wonderful place! Old New England charm, very friendly service, a fantastic room with a fireplace and a huge bath tub! Only down side would be lack of bubble bath soap for that tub. And on a normal day/night to room would've been too warm but since it was like 20 degrees...perfect. would definitely stay again. Oh and the food and tavern were superb!
The Inn was lovely. The staff were wonderful! Felt like family.
They went out of their way to get to know our family group of 12. The restaurant (Tavern) was excellent, Manager/Hostess (Laurie) and server (Romaine) and another male gentleman server whose name I have forgotten were very attentive. Can't wait to return.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The Inn was quaint and has beautiful grounds and a delicious continental breakfast including a waffle station. But, the room had extremely squeaky floor boards and the walls were paper thin. I heard every word of guests next door including the snoring! We stayed in the Carriage House for one night.

Disliked: Staff & service
The main building has rooms attached to it so it gets loud when guests slam the front doors. The ladies at the front desk were wonderful but the gentleman was rude and unwelcoming. The breakfast selection was fantastic! That said, I wouldn’t stay there again…
The property is an older one with creaks and rustic decor, fun for a wedding with nice grounds and patio and plenty of parking. The walls are thin and you can hear people in the other room. But it is also so quaint and rustic. So depending on what you are looking for, this was a great cozy place to stay.
That the buildings are from the 17th and 18th centuries is nice and they’ve done well with them. It’s very small, so has a small staff. Breakfast bar was nice, would’ve preferred full breakfast in the restaurant. Daily needs were provided but no maid service. Dinner in restaurant was really good.
The front desk went above & beyond! Wonderful service. Floors in room were sticky. It did take more than 15 minutes to get hot water, but it’s old plumbing I’m sure. It did finally arrive. Our waitress for dinner was excellent as well. Breakfast was ok.
It was a nice quaint hotel. It was comfortable and the rooms were nice. However, I expected better breakfast from a place that touts itself as a B&B. It was just plain bagels and cereal.
