"Dies war das teuerste Hotel auf unserer Reise, aber leider auch das enttäuschendste. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers ließ zu wünschen übrig. Es waren Ameisen im Bett. Wir mussten zweimal darauf aufmerksam machen, bis diese nachhaltig entfernt wurden. Außerdem stellten wir nach der ersten Nacht fest, dass sich irgendein Tier an unserem Beutel mit (verschlossenen) Keksen zu schaffen gemacht hat. In der zweiten Nacht stellten wir fest, dass es eine Ratte ist. Insgesamt ist die Anlage nicht gut in...

"Una autentica pasada! Las cabañas son muy agradables, está todo súper limpio y tienes toda la tranquilodad del mundo. El personal es super atento y tienes la playa para tí solo. 100% recomendable! "

"Rustic hotel accommodation right on beach, 10 minute drive out of Arugam Bay. Tuk Tuk accessible. Basic accommodation with wifi only in verandah of our unit (11), and in dining area. Lovely atmosphere and staff are very accommodating and friendly. Loved their Sri Lankan meals. It’s not 5 star hotel but the staff make up for it. "

Tout est parfait, la location, les repas, le staff et mention spécial au propriétaire qui nous a donnait pleins de conseils, d’endroit à tester, il nous a arrangeait un safari, le transport et … nous avons tellement aimé que nous avons changer nos plans pour y revenir durant notre séjour. La location est parfait à 2mn en scooter de tout, en étant dans un endroit calme avec piscine et en bord de mère. Encore merci pour tout. "

"Booked this hotel through Expedia prior to my trip, when I landed in Colombo I received a text message from a French (+33) number saying that my booking at The Coconut would be cancelled, and that the prices I had booked were no longer valid! My only choices were to cancel the booking or pay the "new prices" which were 3x higher! I ended up saying I didn't want the booking and found other accommodations. I actually went to the hotel during my trip where the front desk person was frustrated...
