The hosts greeted us when we arrived and gave us a thorough explanation of the property- a very nice touch. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable. We most especially enjoyed the outdoor terrace and table and spent much of our time there. The house is a 10 minute walk to an outdoor swimming area and some food stalls. It is about 30 minutes to the airport. There is plenty of parking space if you have a car which I would highly recommend. The nearby town has a supermarket and a restaurant. This was our favorite rental! Francisco was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The house was spotless, kitchen was well-appointed, plenty of towels and supplies, beautiful yard and covered porch (ate outside everyday), all bedrooms air conditioned. Driveway is steep on a blind corner but we managed just fine. Natural swimming pools, market, pastry shop and restaurants are a short walk or drive. Clean, very spacious and well equipped. Lots of outdoor space too with an outside table where we had all our meals. Our children loved the hammocks. We didn't have a hire car due to a mix up but it was easy to walk to the small shop in town (less than 10 min walk) and to the natural pools (less than 15 min walk). Also easy to get a taxi to Angra or the airport. The owners were extremely helpful. Very quick communication and they helped us when we forgot an item behind when we left , sending it on immediately to our next address. Thank you Francisco and Nelia.
