"This hotel is in a magnificent position overlooking a majestic cathedral and our room had a perfect view of the church. One particular member of the restaurant staff was unbelievably helpful and generous and the food was excellent. The room was comfortable but had no tissues or hair conditioner. "This is a fabulous 5 star hotel. The room was very spacious, with every amenity we could wish for. Amazing and extensive breakfast buffet with freshly prepared and constantly replenished selections to suit any palate. They even had the makings for mimosas. We also had an excellent dinner in the restaurant one evening. Food was impeccably prepared and inventive- gourmet twists on local cuisine. This was our favorite of 7 hotels we stayed in during our recent Portugal road trip."
