Hotel was quiet and spacious. But wifi was terrible and room needs to be refurbished. But main concern was with check-in: it would have saved a great deal of stress and confusion if we’d been told the check-in procedures before beginning our trip - at least a day in advance. As it was, we arrived at the hotel with reception closed, no wifi, no phone linked to a local network. We were lucky to even get into the lobby. It was only through some creativity we were able to find out how to access our room key, and after a stressful period of uncertainty. This was not a good start to our stay.

The beds and pillows were very comfy. We enjoyed the 2 bed 2 bathroom option as an affordable option for a quick overnight stay with our friends. Only suggestion: we would prefer some fresh milk rather than the long life capsules as we couldn’t find a place to buy fresh milk. But that is our only complaint!! Will be back again.

This area was really beneficial to stay in since it was by the night life, shopping areas, and good restaurants. Property felt safe due to having to have a key to enter the floor you stayed on. Room was very nice and spacious.

The Amora hotel was an excellent central location, walking distance to the Queen street mall, easy to get to all outer areas. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The buffet breakfast was excellent with all options, however the gym is too small and may be a good idea to redirect into a bigger space as i found it too cramped when 3 peopke were in there, and the outside pool would have been great if heated in winter. Great location for events at the Convention Centre. Plenty of places to go in the evenings within an easy walk.
