I showed up early for check-in and was told that my room was not available, but for an additional $40 I could get a triple upgrade to a room that was available. After refusing the upgrade I waited an additional hour and received notice from the app that they were ready for my stay and to choose my room, but the digital key option said that I must stop at the desk. This was still before my scheduled check-in time and I was told that and that I could upgrade for $49 and check-in. I heard this several times with other guests as well and several took the upgrade, looks like a scheme. I was later given the same room that I had selected.

We went up to the Mountain Club for cocktails, only to find that they were closing early because of "Mechanical problems " with the dishwasher. We got a drink, but since there are no other bars close by, it was an early evening.
