Owners were great! Great communication. Home was beautiful and very clean. We very much enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a quiet stay/getaway, or if you’re heading to Cooperstown for baseball. About a 30 minute drive.

Peaceful and Private Retreat

Needed a couple days away to enjoy nature and just relax. This home was perfect for our stay. Clean, quiet, private and provided all the comforts you would need. We would love to stay again.

Excellent View and private

We really enjoyed our visit at the cabin. It was quiet, private, beautiful views with a great deck. The owners were exceedingly welcoming with a lovely note and even fresh breakfast left in the refrigerator for us.

We were looking for a nice, quiet place near Harpursville and found this gem! We highly recommend this cabin if you are looking to get away from it all but still have everything you need. Quiet, beautiful grounds, incredible view, comfortable beds, excellent water pressure and temperature, and a well stocked kitchen...so many extras are provided by host - wow! We watched a beautiful storm roll in and obscure the mountains, and another night we stayed up and star gazed about a billion stars. We live in a location with a lot of light pollution, so it was amazing to see them all. And just after dusk, we sat outside and watched the fireflies emerge from the woods...simply magical! HIGHLY recommend!

Very nice property with the best views ever and cozy interior. Very clean. A great place to relax form everything and explore things around. It’s surrounded by a state forest so except for an occasional car, it’s very private. We did a bit of exploration and in addition to info provided would recommend to check out a beautiful Buddhist center within 30 min ov the house.

Great location. Great views If you have trouble climbing stairs., the stairs here are very steep. Both bedrooms upstairs.

Great house in a beautiful location

The house was clean and neat, just as shown in the pictures. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever need. Appreciated the k-cups and snacks that were waiting for us. Forest roads were great for walking and local roads were nice for biking.

Great home, views and owner!

Even better than advertised. Patrick’s home is exceptionally clean, comfortable, peaceful and appointed. It is located on a beautiful lot and has everything needed to accommodate at least four adults and a baby. Patrick is a great host and communicator and does not annoy you in any way. He made my stay terrific! Don’t miss this one!

Wonderful and relaxing!

This was our second time staying at Patrick’s property and it was even better than the first. This home is so clean and well stocked with anything you could need. The view from the back deck is stunning. I even got to watch a mother deer and her twin fawns eat apples from the apple tree each morning! Beds are super comfy, towels are soft, and kitchen/pantry are well stocked. Patrick is a fantastic and very communicative host!

Wonderful stay.

Place is just wonderful. Rustic and cozy. Pups loved it. There was nothing missing to make the place feel like home. For walkers the home is right next to a dirt State Forestry Road. It is drivable as we used it to cut across to the neighboring town (grew up here and know the area well) and the Finger Lakes Trails. Far enough away to be alone but close to creature comforts.
