Check-in was easy, the caretaker was right there to hand over the key, and gave us a brief history of the plantation, which has been around since the 1820s!
The air conditioning worked very well and that's a blessing since we visited in August.
Husband and I explored and walked the property more than once, trying to imagine it in its different eras.
My only issue was the breakfast sandwich in the freezer, which was a solid block of ice. Maybe, put the sandwiches in the freezer the day before guests arrive...
