We held a joint lab retreat at this property and it was wonderful! The lake access was great and super convenient. Having the extra bathrooms was also very helpful. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Family trip

The Dual home worked out great for our large group. Plenty of room for all of us and the outdoors was an extra bonus.

These dual homes (Hawk’s Haven and Lucky Duck cottage) were perfect for our 21 (12 adults and varying kids ages) person get together! Beautiful lake and fall foliage. Very quiet. Variety of inside and outside activities for kids. Nice large spaces for eating, talking, meal prep etc. Very clean. Very family friendly.

Great facility for large group

We were looking for a house that about 20 people to fit in and have dinner together or fun time or relaxing time together. This place wss perfect for that. We are considering this house for a future vacation house.

Beautiful Lake Home

The Scott Lake properties were perfect for our wedding weekend in South Haven. The house was clean and had plenty of bathrooms. The lake was gorgeous and we enjoyed a lovely bon fire the night before our ceremony. It was a little further from SH than I would've liked but our family loved the accommodations!

Fun house on the lake

House was well maintained, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group. Large green space was great for yard games, and having the lake right there was very pleasant. Had a slight hiccup with the Lucky Duck house, but the owners were quick to notify us and book a similar house so we didn't miss a beat. 10/10 would stay again.

Christmas Tradition

We stayed at the Lucky Duck and Hawks Haven as an extended family and really enjoyed our time there. The homes were clean and well stocked. We enjoyed having access to a hot tub and a pool table/game area for relaxing together. The only way it could have been better is if the space and amenities were all in the one house and we didn't have to cross the street but with so many of us staying it was nice to have the option for both homes. Thanks to Elizabeth and Jill for making it an enjoyable stay and experience.

Great place to vacation!!!

We rented two homes---Lucky Duck and Hawk's Haven. Both homes were very nice!! Excellent place to have a family gathering. Bathrooms with showers, one bathroom with a bathtub, queen sized beds along with twin beds, game room, large gathering room, large table in eating area plus another good sized table in kitchen and another table situated in a screened in room, and yes, plenty of chairs to go with the tables. Oh, yes, there was also a couple of good sized tables on the deck. House is very well planned with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms coming off a long hallway. Large kitchen/preparation area and very well stocked necessities. We really enjoyed our stay in Pullman and are hoping to return again next year.

Perfect for large family gathering

Upon arrival, my family and I were very pleased with the cleanliness of both Lucky Duck and Hawks Haven homes. Having the 10 total bedrooms allowed for young children to each have their own space. And the number of bathrooms was great. Property was well taken care of and our host was responsive with all questions and concerns we had. Our family enjoyed late night fires and canoeing on the lake. Young kids loved the sand pit and big yard to play in. Overall pleased with the home and property.

Amazing Family Trip

This was the perfect getaway trip! Both houses were in immaculate shape and had everything you needed. Lucky Duck was quaint and quiet, with a nice hot tub the kids enjoyed. Haven's Hawk was large and fit all 10 kids and more adults. It sit's right on the lake and the views are amazing. We enjoyed a bonfire each night. The hosts were available and responded quickly with any questions we had. Definitely recommend this for a large family or group of friends! We were close enough to drive to South Haven and visit as well.

Our house reservation was changed and not told until I called. We were put between 2 families and they kept going through the back yard. I really wanted the original house I reserved.

We had such a wonderful time at Hawks Haven and Lucky Duck. Seamless check in and the management made sure we knew how to contact them, though everything was in place and ready to go when we got there and we did not need to contact them for anything. Kitchen had everything we needed and the table was great for accomodating us all for meals. We were aware the wi fi may be spotty for many devices but we never had any issues, though we did not find ourselves using it much - Our family of 11 cousins (8 months to 9 yrs old) and 10 adults spent much of the time in the water or the lawn, with little interest in TV or internet. The lake was quiet and warm and provided many opportuinites for swimming, paddling, fishing and searching for shells and lilly pads. The front room got a bit hot in the late afternoon ( manybe a shade would help) but the view made up for that - especially as the rest of the house stayed nice and cool. We loved the location of the house - we were able to get to South Haven and Saugatuck easily which provided access to more activities. We even made it up to Grand Rapids to check out the amenties there. We had a wonderful time - highly recommend for enjoying lake life in the summer. Everyone enjoyed themselves.

Poor communication.

The local manager is neither friendly nor helpful. If you ask her a question, she refers you to the email to find the answer. guess what, the email did not have an answer for that question! When we arrived, we found cockroaches in the house and fridge. The property is overpriced for its location and amenities. Other houses are so close so not much privacy. The grill is too small for a house this size.

Wonderful Family Reunion

Everyone liked the layout of the big house. The house was truly well stocked in every way - kitchen gear, serving dishes, tableware, lawn furniture, canoe, life jackets, table space, clean towels (bring your own beach towels though). The houses were spotless. The little beach and deck provided a great way to interact with the lake. The fire pit and lawn chairs were perfect for an evening gathing of smore making. Being close to South Haven was nice for being a tourist and then it was delightful to go back to the quiet of the lake and the house. We also rented Lucky Duck across the street. It was also clean - no lake view but a nice back patio with woods. The bedrooms are all pretty small / tight with furniture and the sun can make the living area quite hot in the late afternoon. Those are the only complaints our group had. Elizabeth and Jill were very helpful and quick to respond to any inquiry. We truly enjoyed our stay and several of us talked about renting there again.
