Upon arrival there is the immediate feeling of warm, Caribbean hospitality. The hotel entrance is reminiscent of a palatial waterfront estate. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food was flavorful.

I cant understand why they advertised having 11 restaurants in a resort. Most of them can't be reserved in advance. I did try to book up on sunday for mon. Tue. And wed. But, nothing available!! Its a crazy accommodation. I won't come back anymore. I dont need any extea stress!!

Worst experience with staff members and ive been to alot of places, super rude , it took a whole day to fix the room phones after requesting it 4 times !!!!!! 4 phones in my suite none worked! but overall the hotel was nice, pools were big and plenty activities.

Not really an all-inclusive

One of the attractive features of an all inclusive hotel is that everything is included, even the tips, so you don't have to worry about anything. Well, this hotel has a very different definition. Everyday they would find a new way to charge us for something: airport tramsport is USD 30 per person (twice the average price), good beer (e.g. Corona) is $5, decent tequila or scotch (only the cheapest are included), the kids pool, the arcade, the beds by the pool, the French restaurant, the Cava, wine that is not the one from the 'house', Wifi (yes, in 2017 and they charge for this), etc. We liked the specialized restaurants, especially the seafood one (Coral), but oddly they would never have seats available between 7-9 p.m. At the buffet the food was bland and often salty. Desserts, cocktails and the shows at night were garbage. Customer service was below average and staff would always expect a tip. One time the bartender didn't blend our frozen margaritas because he was 'too busy'. I've been to other resorts (RIU, Paradisus, Moon Palace) in Punta Cana and other locations and I am certain you can get better value from your money at other hotels.

Excellent hotel with white sand beach.

Pros: Almost everything was great. The best trolley ride with fantastic merengue music that I requested. My husband and I were dancing in our seats.
Cons: The sound of dripping water was evident that a pipe was leaking at the corner of the coffee station. Its probably from the Jacuzzi above.
Location: Location is ideal with the super beach.
We stayed 8 wonderful days on our second visit to this same hotel. We just love the variety and delicious food at both buffet and individual restaurants. The great staff makes you feel super comfortable. We were shocked that all inclusive did not include the French restaurant which isn't logical. $60 extra dollars for a meal was required. I don't think that should be allowed at all.

Nice hotel, close to the beach, service is bad.

I did not like my stay in this hotel. The service is bad, there is no entertainment whatsoever,the wifi is very poor,the food is the same every day and the choices are limited.

food and liquor

The food in the daytime wasn't so good. The reataurants at night were good, but hard to get reservations, even though you go and half the tables are empty. The liquor is cheap and not so good.

Pros: The food at the buffet and the restaurants was wonderful
Cons: House-keeping needs to use a check list so they don't keep forgetting things
Location: Plenty to do if you want to explore the country
We payed for a Deluxe Room and wound up with a standard room, we were put in the Golf area of the resort and we don't Golf, we were more than a 1/4 mile from the beach.

Beautiful beach but ok food

Pros: the view, the beach
Cons: housekeeping to replace towel when they remove the dirty ones. Regulate food temp in the buffet
It's best to know to speak some Spanish if you decide to visit. The best part of our trip was the view from the room. The food in the buffet had a great assortment but a good amount of the hot food was cold. I think that's how my husband got sick. Make sure to pack medication with you. But unlike the buffet, the specialty restaurants were great, but do not arrive late they will not seat you. Another this we had to track down housekeeping everyday for towels
