The occidental was great. Looks exactly like the photos. If you’re looking for a nice all inclusive resort this is the place.

There food was too repetitive need to change it up. A lot of the staff were not welcoming at all. The drainage in our bathrooms as horrible. We had a room in the area near the common are and it was VERY loud. They need more activities planned for the guest.

The food was very poor quality. The did not have seafood, The room had roaches. The staff was attentive, I did not enjoy my stay. would not recommend.

Some of the staff that was selling time share at the Occidental Punta Cana was a little pushy..... I was only there for 2 days and did not want to spend my time viewing other properties..... The Same people kept approaching me every time I passed the area they was in....... I am now at the Pariadisus Grand Reserve for 4 days and have not been approached once. It was made known upon my arrival and that’s it

As a traveler with a median income this place wasn’t worth any amount of money.We booked a king room and got a double full room.There was mold in the shower. We arrived to dirty sheets on our bed and a stained comforter. The shower had mold within the tiles. There’s a clothesline in the shower...it was moldy too. We had a balcony room. There was a patio table and no chairs. It took three days to get patio chairs. We called for more linens about 9pm no one ever came. We went to the front desk and asked and were told that someone would bring them, no one ever did. The day we said we wanted cleaning, they didn’t leave any linens. They didn’t leave a trash bag in the bathroom trash can. The didn’t sweep the room well. We are at the beach! There was visible sand! Food: don’t even bother. I think I lost 20 lbs from not eating. The food was less than mediocre. Breakfast buffet was the same everyday! Lunch and dinner same everyday! There are 6 restaurants that require reservations but they serve the same food everyday. The menu doesn’t change. We arrived on a Monday and were told that four of the restaurants didn’t have any availability until Sunday. One of the restaurants didn’t even open while we there. I witnessed several people coming in and out of services frustrated due to not being able to get reservations. The biggest issue was no Dominican food. No entertainment. Karaoke was one night. There was no club on any night. Played not American music. Awful

Everything is nice. Not to much walking. Beach and pool are beautiful.

This property was Absolutely beautiful.. The beach, activities for all ages, food and service was great.. The people are friendly and helpful but there are two areas that need some attention: The rooms are dated ... That absolutely needs work and checking in or out was excessively long. Otherwise, my husband and I hAd a nice time.

They have a beautiful beach, grounds,pools and nice restaurants. The staff was so friendly! The reason I couldn’t give better rating is we had to ask for towel sets almost everyday. Sometimes we had bath towels,no washcloths. We went to the front desk multiple times. The furnishings in the room were older. The lighting in the bathroom low. But overall, nice place.

The best part about our stay was the French fries, drinks, pool and ocean.. 3rd day we were ready to come home...the rooms were paper thin.. you can hear a pin drop.. very noise..same food day after day after day and watching birds landing on the food was disgusting. Hamburgers and hot dogs were not hamburgers and hot dogs.. we were told you had to make reseverations the morning you want to eat at a specialty restaurant.. thats not true.. we tried several time to get into the Italian restaurant and it was booked for 2 days ahead. So if you want to eat somewhere make reseveration as soon as you get there or your screwed. The Mexican restaurant was also horrible.. we couldn’t wait to come home and get real food. I would rate this a 1 star
