Beautiful ResortPosted Nov 25, 2015
Check in did not go very smoothly, mostly because of the language barrier - the front desk staff spoke little to no English and our block of rooms were not together. Although difficult to make reservations at the various restaurants, the food was absolutely amazing! Staff at the bars and throughout were very friendly! Plenty of areas to relax on the beach and throughout this gorgeous resort. The Reserve was also very nice. If I had known about the Royal Service, I may have purchased that as well, but there was no mention of it by the staff. Overall, it was a wonderful trip!

The Reserve, PAradisusPosted Nov 6, 2015
Pros: The swim up room was fantastic. The staff are all friendly and lots of space in the resort.
Cons: Perhaps a small souvenir/supply shop at the Reserve hotel, but I'm just nit picking.
Location: We went on an excursion to some stables and a boat ride in the ocean. We were well looked after and it was worth doing.
We had a swim up suite at the Reserve which made all the difference. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and there are plenty of staff around. You can tell that the company has invested a lot of money into the property as everything looks very well maintained. Although we stayed at the Reserve, the buffet at the main hotel is much better. The rooms are spacious and the mini bar is well stocked if you just ask in advance (and maybe give a small tip). Plenty of activities and restaurants. We will definitely return

Great location.Posted Nov 4, 2015
Great hotel, friendly staff...only issue that I had was the attempts made to sell hotel as a timesharing. Beach was great but could not walk a few step and people trying to sell services or stuff. Kind of took the pleasure of walking the beach.

Paradise!!!Posted Oct 22, 2015
Pros: I loved the hotel's design, the royal service, premium liquor, CLEAN & CLEAR sandy beaches!!!! Prettiest place I have ever been!!!
Cons: The pool closes at 7pm so be aware of that because they will kick you out. Along with the ocean, must be out by 6:00pm. Not a lot of partying!
This hotel was marvelous! The food is absolutely amazing!!! You do not go hungry and it is always satisfying. The drinks are wonderful. I would recommend the "Royal Service" with all the perks of priority reservations, a butler, the food, private beach area with the smoothie booth, and the premium liquor. The staff is very eager to please!

Better than expectedPosted Oct 17, 2015
Pros: See above
Cons: Maybe have a set itinerary as far as when house keeping is coming to clean up the room, so guests know when to expect them.
Location: Gym, pool, beach, buffet.
I was expecting to go to a basic hotel resort, but this place had everything: shuttle bus to the resort, inclusive meals and room service, mini bar with daily refills, a shower AND bath/Jacuzzi, in addition to a pool AND beach walking distance from the resort. I would recommend this location to somebody who wants to get away

Excellent hotel right on the beach!!!Posted Oct 15, 2015
My daughter had her wedding there this weekend and the wedding coordinator's attention to deal was spectacular. Staff in general was absolutely wonderful and accommodated all of our individual needs! Would definitely recommend this hotel to any family, bride or couple for complete family vacation.

Nice Resort , Excellent beach and facilities.Posted Oct 14, 2015
Pros: Rooms- Facilities
Cons: Check in - Parking- Restaurant service-
Location: Good location but nothing around the area
I like Melia brand. They are serious and reliable. This is a nice complex and good facilities. As any other all inclusive Resort you have to understand the concept and know how to take advantage. I like the rooms they are very good with nice amenities. I had to wait three hours for my room and my arrival time was 2:45pm. They have only 75% occupancy that day so it's plenty of rooms available. The issue is when you book via Expedia they try to give the standard basic rooms, not a good customer service focus. Staff was great and ver friendly. Not enough parking facilities unless you drive one mile away.
