Vacation Home “Inselsommer 10” – a comfortable getaway on Rügen for two couples or four adults

Take a vacation together while still enjoying your own private space: The “Inselsommer 10” vacation home features two equally equipped bedrooms, each with a double box-spring bed. Complemented by two separate bathrooms, this half of the vacation home offers particularly pleasant accommodations for two couples traveling together, four adults, or a family.

Built in 2021, the house is located in the vacation village of Klein Stresow on the quiet south coast of Rügen. Spanning 61 m², it combines Nordic-inspired design, modern living comfort, and relaxation in nature. A private Finnish sauna, the fireplace, the west-facing terrace, and the private garden make this vacation home a year-round getaway.

A house for spending time together on the island

At “Inselsommer 10,” your vacation begins in a bright and open living area. Floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of natural light and connect the interior of the house to the terrace and garden.

Furniture, lamps, and artwork are carefully coordinated. The elegant Nordic interior design style looks modern while also creating a pleasant, cozy atmosphere.

The sofa offers a comfortable spot for quiet moments. After an outing around the island, you can read, watch TV, or simply relax here. A fireplace provides extra warmth and coziness on cooler days. Wi-Fi is available free of charge.

The dining table seats all four guests. It serves as the central gathering spot for meals, conversations, and social evenings.

Cooking as part of your shared vacation

The open kitchen is fully integrated into the living and dining area. This allows guests to stay connected even while cooking.

High-quality appliances and a complete set of tableware are included. After shared meals, the dishwasher takes care of the cleanup. This leaves more time to enjoy the best parts of your vacation.

West-facing terrace for afternoons and evenings

The floor-to-ceiling windows open directly onto the west-facing terrace. Here, you can enjoy breakfast in the fresh air in the morning. Thanks to its western exposure, the outdoor area is also perfect for relaxing in the afternoon and evening.

Garden furniture is provided. The private garden extends the living space outdoors and offers room to relax and play. Children are welcome at “Inselsommer 10.”

Two bedrooms with equal comfort

Both bedrooms each feature a box-springdouble bed with a sleeping surface of 1.80 × 2.00 meters. This provides four full-size sleeping spaces.

The identical bed sizes make the house particularly appealing for two couples or adults traveling together: There is no smaller second bedroom with single, bunk, or pull-out beds.

Each bedroom also features a closet and its own flat-screen TV. This allows guests to retreat to their own private space whenever needed.

Two bathrooms make your vacation easier

The vacation home has two bathrooms. Both are equipped with a shower and a toilet. The separate bathrooms ensure that guests can comfortably go their separate ways in the morning or after a day at the water.

The ground-floor bathroom also features a private Finnish sauna. It is available exclusively to guests of “Inselsommer 10” and does not need to be shared with other vacationers.

Upon arrival, the beds are already made. Towels are also provided.

From exploring nature to your own sauna

The vacation village is located near the Greifswald Bodden. The water-rich surroundings are perfect for walks, bike rides, and kayaking or SUP adventures.

After an active day, the sauna offers a private place to relax. Afterward, you can wind down the evening by the fireplace, on the sofa, or—weather permitting—on the west-facing terrace.

Laundry facilities in the main house

The washer and dryer are not located directly in the vacation home. Both appliances are available for shared use in the main house. They are coin-operated.

About 600 meters to the natural beach

A natural beach is located about 600 meters from “Inselsommer 10” and is within walking distance. Beach bags, towels, and other items can be transported using the handcart provided.

After a trip to the beach, the short walk back leads to your own garden, the patio, or directly to the sauna.

Nature-oriented location and unpaved access road

Access to the vacation village is via a natural, unpaved road. Vehicles must travel at walking speed only.

A reserved parking space is available free of charge for guests’ vehicles.

Three shared charging stations

There are a total of three charging stations for electric vehicles in the vacation village. They are not assigned to a specific house but are shared among the vacationers.

There is a fee for their use. The fee depends on the length of your stay. Since no charging cable is provided, you must bring your own suitable cable.

Traveling Without a Car

For train travelers, a shuttle from the Putbus train station to the vacation village can be arranged for a small fee. This makes it easy to cover the last few kilometers to the vacation home.

Café Klein Stresow with Farm Store

The vacation village is home to Café Klein Stresow, which features an attached farm store. The menu includes hot and cold beverages, fresh rolls, light meals and snacks, homemade cakes, ice cream, specialty coffees, and regional products.

Firecracker-Free New Year’s Eve

The New Year is celebrated within the vacation village without fireworks. Guests can thus spend New Year’s Eve at a resort that explicitly promotes a fireworks-free celebration.
