"Svantevit 31" Vacation Home – flexible sleeping arrangements, sauna, and dog-friendly vacations

The “Svantevit 31” vacation home is a compact retreat for up to three people that adapts to different travel groups. In addition to the separate bedroom, the living area features a fold-out couch that provides an additional sleeping option. This makes this half of the vacation home ideal not only for couples but also for guests who prefer to sleep separately, as well as for a small family.

Spanning approximately 41 m², the property also features a private Finnish sauna, a private garden, and a southwest-facing terrace. Dogs are also welcome upon prior notice.

Flexible sleeping arrangements – Bedroom and fold-out couch

The separate bedroom features a 180 × 200 cm box-spring double bed. A closet provides space for clothing and luggage. The room also features its own flat-screen TV.

The living area features a couch with an ottoman. This can be converted into a full double bed in just a few simple steps, providing an additional sleeping option. This setup offers greater flexibility, especially for guests who prefer to sleep separately.

The vacation home is designed to accommodate up to three people. Upon arrival, the box-spring bed is already made. Towels are also provided.

Living with direct access to nature

Floor-to-ceiling windows in the open living area provide plenty of natural light and lead directly onto the patio. During the day, the sofa offers a cozy spot for reading, watching TV, or relaxing.

A flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi are included. The decor embraces a modern, Nordic-inspired style and combines select furniture, lighting, and artwork to create a welcoming overall atmosphere.

At the dining table, guests can enjoy breakfast together, have a meal, or plan their next outing.

Cooking without physical barriers

The open kitchen flows directly into the living and dining area. It is equipped with high-quality appliances, a full set of tableware, and a dishwasher.

Thanks to the open layout, you can remain part of the shared vacation experience even while preparing meals. After the meal, the dishwasher takes care of the dishes.

Private sauna in the bathroom

The bathroom features a shower and a toilet. It also features a Finnish sauna, which is available exclusively to guests of the vacation home.

After a walk on the beach, a bike ride, or an outing on the Greifswald Bodden, you can retreat here and relax in soothing warmth. The sauna also makes the house an attractive option for a stay during the cooler months.

There is no private washing machine or dryer at “Svantevit 31.” Coin-operated washing machines and dryers are available for shared use in the main building.

Accessible half of the vacation home

“Svantevit 31” is one of the few barrier-free accommodations in the vacation village. The rooms are all on one level, allowing for short distances within the house.

The term “barrier-free” does not mean that the property is fully accessible or fully wheelchair-accessible. If you have specific personal requirements, please discuss the details before booking.

Southwest-facing terrace and private garden

The terrace faces southwest and offers a lovely spot for sunny afternoons and relaxing evening hours. Outdoor furniture is available for meals and breaks in the fresh air.

The private garden provides additional space and complements the compact interior with a private outdoor area. On warm days, the floor-to-ceiling patio doors allow the living space to open directly onto the greenery.

A Trip to Rügen with Your Dog

Dogs are welcome with prior notice. The peaceful surroundings of Klein Stresow offer various opportunities for walks together through the Bodden landscape.

Children are also welcome to join you. Thanks to the additional sleeping space in the living area, the house can be flexibly used to accommodate a small family.

Natural beach and Greifswald Bodden

The natural beach is about 600 meters away. You can walk there; a handcart is available for transporting towels, bags, and other beach gear.

The nearby Greifswald Bodden offers opportunities for kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding tours. You can also start bike rides and walks right in the surrounding area.

Travel by car, electric vehicle, or train

A free parking space is reserved for the vacation home. Three shared charging stations are available in the vacation village for electric cars. There is a fee for use, which is calculated based on the length of your stay. You must bring your own compatible vehicle charging cable.

The access road to Klein Stresow is unpaved and in its natural state. Please drive on it only at walking speed.

If you are arriving by train, a transfer from the Putbus train station to the vacation village can be arranged for a small fee.

Café and Farm Store in the Vacation Village

At Café Klein Stresow, which has an attached farm store, you can purchase fresh rolls as well as hot and cold drinks. Light meals, snacks, homemade cake, ice cream, and specialty coffees round out the selection. Selected regional products are also available for purchase.

Important information for guests with dogs and anyone who prefers a quiet New Year’s Eve: The vacation village celebrates a fireworks-free New Year’s Eve.
