"The hotel was exceptionally clean and modern, with comfy and well appointed rooms. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely with a fairly good choice. We had a meal in the hotel’s bistro which was really delicious and is thoroughly recommended. Overall, a really enjoyable and comfortable stay."

"Spotlessly clean. Well equipped.
Great position and waterside views from front. Occasional train noise at rear.
We were there in heatwave so a couple of fans would have been useful."

"We needed a simple clean room with en-suite to stop while we did some coastal walking in North Wales. This was conveniently situated- Would recommend!"

"The property was on a working farm and is pet friendly. Located just outside of Pwllheli.
The owners live on site and were very friendly & welcoming.
The facilities were wonderful from the swimming pool to the games room. Set in the beautiful Welsh countryside with stunning views."

"It’s a well equipped apartment in a good area. The floor was not clean, and the property is in need of some maintenance. The mattresses are very springy and uncomfortable. The upstairs toilet doesn’t flush very well and leaves a bad drainage smell after use. The road noise spoils the view from the balcony and the close proximity to the train station, which serves stabling trains, early morning and late evening with engines running should be mentioned."

"Cosy cottage - perfect for two and a dog. The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone.
Although it would have been nice to have sufficient logs for our stay on arrival, when we requested more, there...

"Compact but certainly adequate property for 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 12. Excellent location for walking to the beach and for traveling the peninsula.
Couple of minor downsides - the garden was close but not necessarily convenient, and could do with instructions for the hob but we eventually managed but not mastered it 🤔"

"Firstly Kirsty (although not the owner) is so lovely so friendly and a GREAT chef! We can’t speak highly enough of Kirsty she is a credit to the hotel. Our dog Buddy loved his breakfast sausage also each morning and we loved our breakfast another huge positive for the breakfast here.
The dining area / communal seating area appeared very dated and could do with a face lift / refresh. The shower was extremely small in the room we stayed in, but overall it was a pleasure to stay here, we felt safe, we had a comfy bed and as mentioned Kirsty was so lovely looking after us during our time here
Very close to Nefyn Golf club which is literally incredible - great views for dog walking and an unbelievable place to play golf.
Shops, beach and pub also close by, safe and free parking and just a great reasonably priced place to stay in the north of Wales"
"The property was generally good. Very secluded. The garden is large but not fully secure. Only flimsy twigs across breaks in the surrounding hedges so I would advise not appropriate for any dogs that have a tendency to wander. Several of the windows are old fashioned metal frames so whilst we were warm enough in October I would think the property might be colder later in the year. The double bed upstairs was comfortable and rooms nicely furnished. Can’t comment on the others as only my husband and myself on our visit. More wine glasses would be useful. As previous reviewers have mentioned the kitchen is very small. The location was good for sightseeing in the area with easy access to both coasts of the Lynn peninsula."
Amazing sea views Set in 7 acres of fields Dog friendly On the welsh coast path.

"Guy is a great host. The communication and information provided was excellent. The property was warm and cosy on arrival. The beds super comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, and included a bottle of wine, milk and biscuits, which were gratefully received. We loved the location and hearing the waves at night. Overall a great value, warm, clean and spacious place to stay. We will be looking to book again !"
5* Luxury Welsh stone Long Cottage with magnificent panoramic views
10/10 Excellent
"The property is peaceful and very scenic, there are lovely views out of almost every window. The property was spotless and very well appointed. The kitchen extension is amazing we lived in there whilst at the cottage. The beds were very comfortable and the bath and shower had plenty of hot water. The garden was well enclosed for 2 labradors, although they weren't too sure about the cows!We had a slight issue with the kettle but Jenny was most helpful and we got it sorted with no fuss. You do have quite a drive to get to main roads but the views and peace make it very worthwhile."
"What a lovely place. Room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. The staff were fantastic and so friendly. We had breakfast and evening meal and it was excellent. Thanks you so much and we will return"
GORGEOUS SPACIOUS FAMILY HOUSE IN THE CENTRE OF ABERSOCH
10/10 Excellent
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gwynfa House. We were two families of four and found the property to be really spacious, with different living areas, so everyone found it really comfortable. The bedrooms were lovely and the beds and the pillows meant we had great sleeps. We were really pleased with the size of the garden and to have this so close to the beach was more than we expected. We hadn't realised just how close to the beach the house was, the kids loved going down there after our evening meal. Abersoch centre was also only two minutes away, which was a bonus!Virginia was a great host who provided lots of detail about the house and directions for getting there. We would thoroughly recommend staying here and look forward to returning soon."
