If you continue through the village of Qadah, you will find yourself on a road through farmland. It is very green and pretty. Continue on the road up the wadi (dry riverbed) until you are almost at the end of the road - you end up in Tawi village and there is a wall of mountains in front of you. On the left hand side of the road, just before a large white house (from memory after a white house too), there are ancient petroglyphs carved into the rocks. There is a fairly open space with a tumble of rocks and some are on these and some on the rock face behind or next to them...

"We absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is authentic, beautiful and clean. We had a room with a canal view and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff is accommodating and friendly. We ate at the restaurant on site and the chef made me a special dish of fhul madames, even though it was not on the menu. Wine is available for purchase at the restaurant. There is also a gym on site, and a free shuttle to the airport. "
