“Its really nice and romantic. Nice place to unwind after a long touristy day. If you arrive at night it wil be dark and scary. However, in the day, its is quite quaint. Breakfast is wonderful”

Not enough amenities but Overall I did appreciate the little things like spoons, dishes and cups a clean bedding, cable internet and air conditioner. “I picked the Surfing Turtle based upon positive reviews but I definitely didn’t have a good experience. I guess someone has to draw the short straw. That was me - my room faced the very BUSY and LOUD road that was about 4 feet from the door. The loud music from nearby clubs went on late into the night. I have stayed in busy and noisy hotels all over and have never had to resort to the earplugs that were left in the nightstand. The Google Map link sent to me wouldn’t work which created……

“The staff was very cordial. I had to move a night table to retrieve a hair clip and I can tell that no one has cleaned the area behind the night stand for a while and there was small roach. Shower curtain needs to be replace immediately. The plastic receptacle to connect the blow dryer is broken. The room needs a fresh coat of paint; there are scuff marks on the walls. The sheets looked worn out and the comforter feels very worn out.This room needs a serious and total makeover. I will not……

“Beautiful, modern, and affordable room. I stayed in the 2 bed room with 4 people total and it was so spacious. The location is perfect for experiencing the La Placita nightlife (literally less than a minute walk away). Ear plugs are provide since the location is in La Placita. There’s a jacuzzi and outdoor shower in rinse off and sunscreen and bug spray are provided. Super easy for Ubers to find the hotel and overall could not recommend staying here more!! ”
