“We stayed in one of the 10 Slab Huts, very rustic but comfortable. Close to tourist locations with QANTAS Founders across road and Stockmans Hall of Fame both within short walking distance. The only drawback would be the traffic noise from highway with road trains travelling 24/7.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet room as it was furtherest from the street. The staff were friendly and helpful. ”

“The staff were very helpful, the room was very clean, however the rooms need queen /king size beds. Double size beds are ok, for couples, but an upgrade is needed.”

“A convenient location with very good facilities. A bonus if you can score a ground level room to avoid carrying luggage upstairs. The Tavern is onsite ideal for a cold drink and meals.”

“Fantastic staff. Bar and restaurant were great. The burger and steak sandwich were unreal. Booked a two night stay but left after one as the were random people throughout the night drinking amd smoking outisde our room from about 1am onwards. We asked them to move or be quiet but they kept coming back. The smell from the bathroom was fairly average from the sulphur, the hotel we used the following night did not have this issue. Long great for a meal but not for a stay.”

“The Coolibah Hotel is aptly rated at 3 star. Unfortunately when we arrived, there was no pool as advertised which was disappointing. However upon checking in, we were given an upgrade room for no additional expense which was greatly appreciated. The owner was very accommodating and we had a re-union dinner there one night and the buffet meal was great. Given its an older style motel, there were several small maintenance items that required attention but nothing that caused us any great……
