"The most amazing place we have ever stayed in! This historical, darling, little cottage has been lovingly restored & so beautifully & thoughtfully decorated. We loved having a dishwasher, AC & good size washer & dryer. The book of instructions & tips for our stay was so helpful. I would highly recommend going on a hot air balloon ride, kayaking down the river (the 2 hour option was a perfect amount of time) & visiting some of the markets that are listed in the information binder. "Très bel hôtel! Vu incroyable sur Saint cirq Lapopie. Ils nous ont surclassés et nous étions bien contents. J’ai demandé des glaçons et des ustensiles et ils m’ont donné le tout avec gentillesse. J’avoue que le seul bémol, le siège de toilette inexistant mais enfin c’est pas si grave. Très belle endroit, je recommande. "

"L'Esplanade is in the heart of Domme, a charming place and town with a wonderful view of the valley. Parking is an issue. We left our car in a metered space (without paying) for about 45 minutes while we were checking in and received a ticket. The staff directed us to an unmetered spot on the street and we left it there for the rest of our two day stay. BUT we were there off season (week after Easter). If you are going to stay there during a busier time you should research the parking options...

"Stayed here because of the splendid views from the hotel & we weren't disappointed also it was en-route from Spain to the ferry in northern France. We had an upper floor room, which was everything we needed, the breakfasts & evening meals were excellent, the staff so friendly & helpful. The location was perfect for visiting the old town 10 minutes walk down 20 minutes back up, but well worth the effort."

"Wonderful location with splendid views over river from large room. We extended to 8 nights so obviously good but tiny tiny wardrobe so clothes around room. However , we saw other rooms had much larger later so should have asked to change. Excellent overall"

"Wonderfully situated within the Dordogne valley with lots of chateaux and other tourist attractions to visit. The only downside of this hotel was the same menu every evening. They usually change it once a month! Also, no assistance to gain access to their wonderful swimming pools as there were no steps to get in our out. This was commented upon when leaving and they assured us this would be brought to the attention of the management. I sincerely hope so as I was not the only one to require...
