Right along Gran Via and a vibrant jam packed sidewalk/vehicle thoroughfare. The hotel though is a wonderful and quiet retreat. The hotel also has a top floor with a small veranda and the rest of the floor is well appointed rooms with sofas, chairs and small bar. Great place to relax. One can catch views of the downtown core from up high.
Overall, front desk staff were friendly, helpful and engaged. The room and bed we had were quite comfortable along with necessary air conditioning for those very hot August/September afternoons. The morning breakfast option was quite good, with plenty of food choices. A great location and would stay there again if we get back to Madrid.
