Stayed for 3 nights. Staff was amazing especially Jandro. He gave us a map of city and explained all the places to visit. Close to everything re: shopping and dining. Would definitely stay again

Staff were extremely kind. I stayed here on my birthday and they made it feel so special. I was given a bottle of wine and chocolates upon check in. The location was great and only a 15min walk to get to Paddy’s market, both crown and star casino, Hyde park and a 5 min walk to the restaurants on the water.

The Ovolo was a unique hotel that had a lot of great features. There were issues with the washroom. The lighting was insanely poor for putting on makeup. The shower leaked out all over the floor and the shower mat was quite inadequate. These issues, unfortunately, made a great room less than great.

The room was clean, aircon was good, kettle fine, teabags in the kitchen.
I tought I had ordered a room with ensuite. Which I understand to be private bathroom. The bathroom was shared between 3 rooms, and everyone was neat and tidy so it went ok.
The TV did not work.
The window overlooked the neighbouring property, wall, and the workers who arrived quite early while I was having my coffee. We smiled at each other I closed the blind.
So it was not very dirty but not spotless, ok for overnight in a pinch, but I like my own bathroom.

"Good stay in all regards. Middle of the Hunter valley wineries, has lots of things to do inside the resort as well as around the valley. Good family and children activities. Very good golf course. Unfortunately the bed was well under par which was a shame."
