"Very quiet hotel, perfect for a good nights rest. Simple & retro but comfortable room. Staff were friendly. Easy to check in & out. My room unfortunately was backside / away from the sea, however luckily it was only a few steps away from the front door. Would stay again & recommend. "

"Our stay at Y Capel was wonderful! We loved the heritage associated with the building. Our room was large and clean. The bathroom seemed to have been recently updated and the shower was awesome. The common area was lovely with extra amenities. Check-in at the Erskine Arms (immediately across the road) was quick and easy. Breakfast was included (at the Erskine Arms), and it was delicious with lots of choice. Y Capel is a wonderful spot for exploring all the sites of Conwy. We would highly recommend it. We had only two minor complaints during our stay. First, the heated towel rack seemed awkwardly situated on the wall opposite the toilet so we kept knocking our heads on the rack when standing up (the bathroom was quite narrow) but we eventually got used to avoiding it! The other minor inconvenience was there is no air conditioning; however, a large fan was supplied which suited our needs but may not be sufficient during warmer months or for people who like it very cool. "

The house was beautiful, spacious, well-equipped and provided the perfect holiday location for our weekend holiday stay in Conwy and also the perfect location to take part in the Conwy half marathon. We would love to stay again and would highly recommend to anyone else. "

"We absolutely loved our stay and we had an amazing time. The cottage is gorgeous and is in a brilliant location for doing things. The only downside to the location is that it was quite noisy at night time and we did not sleep very well. There were hairs in one of the twin beds that our little one was staying in, didn’t check the other but noticed them when we were putting him to bed so would bring that up with cleaners. There was also no working bulb in the twin bedroom which made it really difficult at bed times and getting ready so had to use the side lamp instead. There was a folder with information on the side however my suggestion to make this more seamless is to re-do the folder, add the Wi-Fi password but change the Wi-Fi password to an easier password to put in as it was a struggle to get this from the back of the router and would be a lot easier if in the folder. Some useful information and things to do in the area in the folder would be good too, something to feel welcomed into the cottage would be nice. The parking next to the cottage is extremely tight and we had problems parking our car there which was very stressful, we could barely get our child out of the car if someone was parked in the next bay. No hand soap in the bathroom, would recommend putting some in. We had a great stay and would come again but those are our suggestions, thank you for a great time. "
