Relax on the large corner sofa in front of the fireplace and spend some cosy hours with your fellow travellers. The open-plan living and sleeping area is ideal for a family holiday. Prepare your favourite dishes in the compact kitchen and then take a seat at the dining table by the window.



Step outside and enjoy the exceptional location on a lakeside plot with its own private bathing cove. Several seating areas invite you to let your gaze wander over the calm water and the wooded shores. Dine on the raised wooden terrace, make yourself comfortable on the Hollywood swing, or round off the evening by the fire pit. You can buy firewood from the owner. Walk across the small jetty straight to the water’s edge and use the boat for a relaxing time on the lake. With a bit of luck, you might even spot beavers or moose in the unspoilt surroundings.



From Råda, explore the forest- and lake-rich landscape of the Swedish province of Värmland. Go for walks through the vast forests, go fishing or discover the area from the water. You should also visit Hagfors with its railway museum and head to Brattfallet waterfall, whose gorge and walking trails make for a delightful destination for a trip into the countryside.
