The hotel is beautiful, in an old mansion that was once inhabited by writer Gustave Flaubert. The rooms were nicely sized, and room amenities (water, coffee, etc) were replenished everyday of need be. Staff were So friendly and helpful. Our only constructive criticism is that the WiFi was not very strong: it was in and out. However everything else was wonderful!

Restaurant unfortunately not open. Mattress a little too hard. Stunning setting and beautiful lake and grounds. Very convenient for walking into Bayeau which was a fabulous place with amazing buildings and history and good places to eat.
