Longest wall in India!
Only a 2hour drive from Udaipur, Kumbhalgarh Fort was one of the best fort of our trip.

Take the snaking path to the top of the hill and explore the palace for breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. There are also some very ornate temples near the entrance, as well as a few others scattered around the expansive area contained by the walls. Said walls are 10-12km long and at points are wide enough for 8 horses, you can walk the entire circuit in about 4 hours (though I wouldn't recommend it in the heat).

The fort sits in a perfect defensive position, and when it was used as a fort and not a tourist attraction, it was only ever taken once and even then only for two days

Popular cities in Rajsamand

If you've got the ching, you might want to spring for the Devi Garh. This luxury hotel and former hilltop palace of Raghudev Singh II is ringed by the Aravali Hills and looks down over the dusty town of Delwara, which spreads like a worn, pastel carpet at the feet of its massive gates. The hot tub, alone was a thing of beauty, flanked by an abundance of bright, climbing flowers and a sweeping view of the mountains. • http://www.lebua.com/devi-garh • #Delwara #India #DeviGarh
