The Tipton House was fantastic! We truly enjoyed our stay. It was very pet friendly, complete with treats and extra water bowls. There were also kid friendly plates, bowls, and utensils, which was amazing. The rooftop patio was great. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the house. It was stocked with everything, from k-cups to extra toothbrushes. And the host is so friendly and easy to work with. Location is super close to downtown Raleigh, less than a mile to downtown. It is also about half a mile from an amazing playground if you have kiddos. 10/10 and would stay again!

The house is nice inside, however, the neighborhood is not safe. Our family did not feel safe and we did not end up staying at all in the property. We reached out to the owner. We asked for a refund and we were given a refund for the cleaning fee only. We were forced to purchase hotel rooms at an additional expense. This property should have a clearer description of the surrounding area so that another family does not have this same experience.
