Not worth boat rise across the island

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We truly appreciated the early check-in, which made our arrival so smooth and stress-free. The food was fantastic—fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Every meal was something we looked forward to. The view was simply amazing and made our stay even more special. Waking up to that scenery each morning was unforgettable. Overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. We would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return in the future.

First off let me say this place is nestled in nature on a beautiful lake. The place designed perfectly to feel nature. If you are looking for a quiet get away, this place will not disappoint. The staff is gracious and you arrive to a nice cool drink and a beautiful entrance. The jacuzzi was not working when we arrived, but the pool area feels like Paradise and the jacuzzi is small above ground, not so great. The rooms have balcony with amazing lake views good AC, beds are comfortable and nice. The rooms are a bit dated, but very clean and cared for. You need to rent a car to go to the local towns, Flores (40 min) and to get tipical food, not only is it cheaper but delicious. For Tikal you can drive and see it on your own for the day. The only reason to need a guide is if you are going for the sunrise tour (MUST HAVE) Which you can coordinate with the hotel concierge. Other wise 45 min drive and only 150Q= $21usd approx for the regular day pass. Parking at the hotel is abundant and free. The rest of the tours I booked myself and left from Flores. Much cheaper. All in all an amazing trip and beautiful stay at this hotel.

The docks that are pictured in the photos are submerged underwater and have been for some time as they are very slippery and covered in algae but the property is still very usable and extremely beautiful. The staff was so kind and attentive and they let us stay on the property 5 hours past our checkout time until our flights were leaving! The food from the restaurant and the drinks from the bar were absolutely delightful. We loved our stay here and would absolutely go back again.
