"Clean room including bathroom. Pleasant staff in both reception and waiting staff at breakfast. Breakfast was very nice. Lovely hotel. Really enjoyed swimming, too. Easy access to town centre. Bus stop next to the hotel. "

"This was a lovely hotel and we had a great stay. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and also a welcome gift which was very well received. The room was great, a good size, clean and well maintained. The grounds were gorgeous. The Manor House is beautiful. The golf course was good and well maintained. The food was good, we had a nice breakfast and paid for lunch in the bar. The hotel has multiple games including table tennis, table football, pool and arcade games, space invaders, street fighter and donkey kong- all great fun and family friendly. There is a lovely pool and sauna which we enjoyed. There was also a small but well equipped gym but I didn't manage to get round to using it. Overall a wonderful stay and I wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend. Our dog had a good stay too."

"Very good overall. . Like a lot of hotels, the food is good but overpriced. The location and view of the river from some rooms is fabulous. Staff are friendly and try their best for you. Unfortunately I booked last minute in order to get a peaceful night’s sleep and the fire alarm woke the whole hotel at 3am. Great that it worked, but there was no fire! Water had leaked into the sensors somehow (the weather was windy and wet that night) so after we all trooped out of our rooms in pyjamas and overcoats, we were told that there was no need to panic. Couldn’t be helped but very frustrating! Overall it’s worth the fee I paid via Expedia as I’ve stayed a few times now and would definitely recommend it. Make sure you find the best deal possible! "

"IT WAS A GOOD STAY , STAFF FRIENDLY, FUN GAMES , DECENT GYM ALSO... THE HOTEL HAS ONLY THE ONE PINBALL MACHINE, I THINK IT WAS MY MISTAKE BUT THOUGHT IT HAD MORE & INCLUDED THE GUEST ROOMS - BUT SADLY NOT 😥 BUT , I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN ! ALSO , YOU CAN DRINK IN THE BAR AFTER 11 PM ... NICE "
