Stayed midweek. Not very busy. Quiet, clean, excellent bed, large room. Outside areas well lit. New carpet in public areas. Friendly staff.

Breakfast was good Air conditioning wasn’t all that great

Just WOW! This was like staying at you eccentric, generous, Bohemian uncle’s place - cool art and artifacts EVERYWHERE, snacks and drink offerings available 24 hours/day, and well appointed, clean, and comfortable “guest” room! The night we came in, I was lucky enough to actually meet Chef “Uncle” John Cariere, the proprietor. He was very welcoming and accommodating and invited us to the complimentary breakfast. We could smell it the next morning, but were just too comfortable to get out of the bed! 😅 Instead, we woke leisurely and made a coffee at his extensive coffee bar then sat out on the side yard under the amazing huge tree! His place is nestled in an impressive area abundant with large historic looking homes and was incredibly peaceful. We just enjoyed every aspect of our visit and his place will be reason enough to return to Shreveport!

Room was clean, but there were holes in the sheets and the staff was a bit rude and seemed put out when asked for anything. Also there was not much open when we visited, not the fault of the hotel and does not effect my rating but know that there isnt anything to do in the area other than gamble

Yeah, The breakfast was fresh, the place is nice, everything you could want to relax after a day of work.
