To begin this property is not recommended for handicap or older people i bring my mother along this trip to get in the lobby stairs to go out stairs to the rooms more stairs i have book 2 rooms and they give me one on on lavel 3 and one on lavel 2 so I ask for something on the bottom lavel for my mom they say nothing available so them I ask for a 2 room suite the have one on second floor which costs me 3000 pesos like 150 dls we find couches in the closet the safe door wasn't working the told me the will send someone to fix but tha never happened bad experience the only good about this place is 5 minutes away the airport

Lovely staff really made our stay

This place is literally in the jungle far away from puerto Escondido. The road to get to it is barely a road and not the easiest to find. It’s a place to unplug and get away from hectic life. There is wifi but it’s not great. There are no air conditioners in the rooms. The jungle insects are loud at night and often find their way into the rooms. But the rooms are very unique and we enjoyed ours. The rooftop pool and hammock were very relaxing. The communal pool is beautiful and carved in the jungle. The spa you can book privately for one hour is fantastic. It has a warm pool a cool and a sauna. The beach is about a minute walk away through….yep you guessed it…the jungle. It’s beautiful and hardly a soul around although the waves are crazy so that might be why. The restaurant was great but limited and often not everything available due to the remoteness. It’s a very peaceful and unique place to stay. Would recommend for a couple nights max.
