We loved how easy it was to take the S Bahn and walk across the path to the hotel. It could not be easier/shorter distance. Nicely maintained hotel.
Lovely proximity to walk down Main Street of Echterdingen.
In general the room was clean and comfortable with general amenities. Except the AC was not working and it was roasting in our room. We called the front desk as soon as we checked in and they told us just to wait, it takes time…we sweated through the night.
The next day a German friend we were visiting called the front desk when she learned we had no AC. They told her they had some technical problems and would put a fan in our room for our second night. Somehow the AC in the lobby was working. In a hotel that size, were there really no rooms to move us to with functioning AC?
