"The Cabin was very clean and was above average in value. The host was very attentive and responded to all questions in a timely manner. The Black River was low and we decided not to go canoeing. The area is sparsely populated and there was not a lot of eating establishes to choose from. Not a lot to do if you do not utilize the river. The scenery in the area was beautiful. Probably would no go back to that location again."

"This is a great get a way spot that is tucked into a peaceful and scenic location. There’s a little creek that runs by within a short walking distance. We really enjoyed the stay. The only reason I only gave 4 stars on the check in was that it wasn’t ready when we got there due to the previous occupants not leaving when they were supposed to and that we didn’t know which one we were supposed to go to. Peaceful stay

"This is a great get a way spot that is tucked into a peaceful and scenic location. There’s a little creek that runs by within a short walking distance. We really enjoyed the stay. The only reason I only gave 4 stars on the check in was that it wasn’t ready when we got there due to the previous occupants not leaving when they were supposed to and that we didn’t know which one we were supposed to go to. There was nothing telling us which spot was our spot. Also, I would highly recommend to the owner to install a hydrant for fresh water. It’s fairly inexpensive and would be a great asset. "

Overall, you can tell a lot of work was put into making this the perfect getaway. One thing to note- the description says it fits 8 but sleeps 6. We were a bit confused by that, but it turns out there is ann additional bunkbed upstairs. I’m unsure if they’re meant for children or adults, none of us tried to use them."

"Customer Service was great. This location was very clean with a nice cabin feel to it. A restaurant conveniently located below. Nice patio to hang out and play games. Met some awesome people at the motel. Being Father's Day weekend was awesome and the weather was hot. Perfect for swimming at Johnston shut-ins state park about 10min drive. Beautiful area to enjoy time with friends and family. Thank you for the hospitality. "
