It's a little walk to the lake, but it's still a really nice view of the lake and wonderful property (with lots of windows). It was hot so we enjoyed the air conditioning. My wife read as many books as she could in the comfy furniture while enjoying the view and I enjoyed hiking the magical trails and kayaking with the Koi fish in the lake. We enjoyed bonfires in the evening with plenty of seating and accesories for cooking on the fire. The cottage itself was warm and welcoming and had plenty of seating and sleeping options.
