We reserved 3 rooms, showed up to check in late at night after driving 4 hours and was told they overbooked and only had 2 rooms for us. There was no heads up and no other rooms in the area available. The folks who did end up staying there said it was disgusting and the ceiling of the bathroom was leaking and falling apart after the rain.

If you are looking for simple, you found it. If you are content with simple, this is the place. We have stayed at this location on several occasions. It's nothing fancy. The AM breakfast offerings have significantly declined over the last 8 years, but if you need a roof over your head for the night and a place to get out of the bitter cold or the humid hot weather, you'll be satisfied. Staff are always friendly, and they do their best to accommodate requests.

We had a fine stay at the Brookville Inn. Check in was friendly and quick, and checking out took only seconds. Good folks at the front desk. Our room was #216, and the view over McDonald's and the truck plaza could have been better, Plant some trees! The fan in that bathroom was almost ineffective, and rumbled like a diesel truck.

Comfortable and clean for a one night stay. Breakfast was McDonald’s egg and cheese biscuits, muffins, juice etc. Would have enjoyed sausage in the muffins. Hallways and room carpet seemed clean. TV was older and not the best picture but it did work. Would stay again.

Not much to like about the property. The room was clean but there was water pouring from the window and the window ledge was covered in water. I ask the front desk if I could get a room that didn’t have a leaking window and he said they all leak. The breakfast was sad. Only 2 cereals, bread, bagel, a couple of mini muffins and juice. The apple juice had black specks in it that I didn’t want to identify. When I checked out I mentioned the leaking window and the clerk said good thing that isn’t my problem. Staying is a slight upgrade from a tent.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms had heavily worn furniture and a piece of wall art that was falling out of its frame and only holding on by one corner, but the bedding was clean and mattress was comfortable. Continental breakfast included sandwiches from McDonald's and donuts from Walmart.
