It was lovely to be just 2 miles from Mendocino, with views of the Ocean and having a full cottage with kitchen and dining table. Fairly rustic, not luxury in any means but great value for the price. Careful, the Rose Garden cottage is not a 2 bedrooms cottage. It can sleep 4 but the entire space is open (bedroom has no door) and has large opening to the living room where the sofabed is for the other 2 guests.

The "Packard House" of the Inns of Mendocino was such a wonderful Bed N Breakfast. The property was decorated beautifully. The bedroom my husband and I had was very large with a nice bathroom. We were the only room on the first floor which made things very quiet and convenient. Outside of our room were 2 living areas and a dining room. We felt like we had rented the entire house. The location was a quick walk to restaurants and shops.

We really enjoyed our stay, it was cozy and charming and close to everything Mendocino. The room was clean but some aspects felt outdated like peeling paint and stains on the carpets. We would definitely stay again!
