Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, especially as we visited for our honeymoon. The hotel itself was lovely, and the staff made our stay feel special. We received a thoughtful card, a small gift, and complimentary drinks, which we really appreciated. The room was also very comfortable, with high ceilings that made it feel spacious and relaxing. Housekeeping was excellent and the room was cleaned very well every day. The amenities, especially the shampoo and bathroom products, had a very nice scent and made the stay feel more comfortable. The main downside for us was the location. It takes around 25 to 30 minutes to walk to the main sightseeing areas, which was quite tiring in the summer heat. Even using the bus still involved a fair amount of walking, so going back to the hotel during the day was not very convenient. We also arrived late at night, and because the underground route at the station was closed, we had to take a longer detour from the bus stop to the hotel, which made the arrival more difficult than expected. The pool area looked nice and relaxing, but it was quite busy with many people around and in the pool, so we personally decided not to use it. In July, the heat also made it less appealing for us to spend time there. Overall, the hotel experience itself was very good, with thoughtful service, a comfortable room, and excellent housekeeping. However, the location was less convenient than we expected, especially in hot weather.

The staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect for sightseeing. Our room was clean and comfortable. There are a lot of steps and no elevator, but we knew that in advance.

The best place to stay in Bologna!! Beautiful, elegant and historical property in the center of everything. The kindest, warmest, most helpful and professional staff!! We always felt like their favorite guests, but I think that’s just their amazing hospitality. Incredibly delicious breakfast with lots of variety. This was our third time staying at Corona D’Oro and we will be back!
