Beautiful spot

Loved this little flat in the sky with beautiful views of Manarola and the Mediterranean. Place needed some minor upkeep, but I would stay again. Wonderful host!

Amazing Cinque Terre views and location!

Lorella is a gracious host and communicated our pre arrival details as well as taking time to greet us in person and introduce us to the property and area. The views from the terrace and garden are amazing. The apartment is well maintained and decorated, and linens and bed very comfortable. An excellent stay overall!

Best penthouse view on the planet!

We were blown away by our stay at Lorella’s beautiful guest cottage in Manarola overlooking the Ligurian sea, Manarola village and mountain vineyards! Lorella was the consummate host to welcome us to her home and village and to explain trails and restaurants nearby. It was a perfect space for a couple. Would highly recommend anyone to visit and would love to go back. Thank you Lorella for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Fantastic view

Great location close to restaurants, shops and hiking trails. Lorella was very helpful and made sure we knew about weather conditions. Paolo in the pioggia was very helpful with parking and transfers. Would definitely stay again.

The property was absolutely beautiful, the views were breathtaking, and location was perfect. So serene and tranquil, loved listening to the Church bells and the sunsets were spectacular. The hostess was so gracious, informative and kind. It was a pleasure meeting her and staying in this most beautiful, charming, amazing apartment.

Lorella was wonderful! The view was spectacular! The property was very nice, very comfortable, and very clean! From providing Paolo to get our luggage up and down the hill (essential), to giving us excellent, detailed information about the town, restaurants, and groceries, Lorella is an amazing host! Beautiful Apartment

Wonderful stay in 5 Terre. Lorella was a great host that met us at check in and gave us a very detailed description of the area with many activities. Manarola was a great place to stay, easy to take the train to other towns and a quite place with many great places to eat and hiking trails. The apartment is actually better than the photos, very clean with a great porch and plenty of space for the two of us. Just like the description, there are many steps and hills to get to the apartment. But worth the trip up and down for this great place to stay.

The best view in Manarola!

This property is positioned in the upper part of the village. Views of the town, the Sea and the terraces hillside. You cannot beat this view, it is outstanding and the size of the large terrace is a huge bonus!!! Plenty of space in the bedroom as well as the living area! Lorella was an amazing host, very helpful with recommendations and info on the town. I would recommend this place to everyone!!!

Great Time in Cinque Terre

This is a wonderful property! Lorella met us at check-in to show us the unit and provided many tips for enjoying the area. Prior to arriving, she made restaurant reservations for us. Be sure to take advantage of the luggage service. You won’t regret it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Wonderful, clean, perfect!

This property is amazing! Lorella is a wonderful host who provides lots of helpful suggestions on what to do and where to eat during check in. We felt that Manarola was the perfect location to stay in the Cinque Terre area. We were able to hike to the neighboring towns for lunch or breakfast. We highly recommend this property. The gardens and location and view will add to your experience. We were sad to leave!! You will not be disappointed- better than you can imagine!

Excellent in every way!

I would give this unit a 10 star if I could. It was excellent in every way the owner met us at check-in, explained everything about the apartment, and even gave us suggestions for dinner. Oh, and she met us with a bottle of wine. She paid attention to every detail!

An Absolute Gem!

If you don't mind walking lots of stairs, this place is a gem! Very comfortable bed and shower, a huge balcony with amazing views towards the water and vineyards, private shaded outdoor space in the back. Our host Lorella couldn't be nicer. She spend a considerable amount of time with us, providing the best suggestions for restaurants and even made our dinner reservations before arrival. And Manarola is the best of the 5!

Amazing water view

La Terrazza is exactly as described. Amazing view of the Ligurian sea as well as surrounding hills. Lorella was there to greet us making check in very easy and answering any questions we had. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Hiking trails start from just up the block. House was clean and spacious. Yard was nice to have when we wanted a change of scenery from the deck. I would stay here again if I went back.

Great place!!

La Terrazza 85 is absolutely amazing! Lorella is an amazing host and explained everything in detail upon arrival, helped to book a dinner reservation for us, and helped to coordinate luggage service - you can tell she really wants her guests to have a good time. The location is incredible - it is one of the highest points in the village with incredible views of the village and sea. The accommodations are very nice and cozy - the large patio was my favorite part. The apartment is up a very steep and narrow combination of stairs/walkways and I would strongly suggest smaller luggage and/or use of the luggage service - even if you are young/fit. :-)

Manarola view in Cinque Terre

The property is just as advertised. The terrace has a great view of Manarola and the sea. The kitchen, while small, is fully functional and adequately equipped. Most of the windows and features are quite new and keep it very quiet. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, though there are lots of stairs. That is to be expected though. They do offer a service to help with baggage, if desired. I would recommend this property.

Fantastic!!

This house was absolutely amazing!! The best location in the best of the Cinque Terre! The views of the mountains and the sea are breathtaking. And the house is so charming! It includes a garden area in the back that offers even more space for relaxing and enjoying the views. Our host, Lorella, was the best. She responds quickly to any questions you have and makes suggestions on things to do and places to eat. She meets you at the entrance and gives you a tour of the property as well. Some of her suggestions on hikes and activities were my favorite parts of the trip! Don't hesitate to book this property. You won't be disappointed!

Breathtaking stay

Words cannot describe how beautiful the view is from this hilltop retreat!! Set high above Manarola, the view is otherworldly. The apartment is well cared for, air conditioned, clean and comfortable. The terrace with infinite views of the sea is worth the climb to stay at this private and tranquil getaway. Lorella is a remarkable hostess, always speedy with replying to my questions before our arrival. She booked fantastic restaurants stir us, and arranged for Paolo, the town porter, to meet us at the train to take our luggage to the top for an additional fee…money we’ll spent, as our bags were heavy and it would have been impossible to get them up on our own. Our only regret was not staying longer, we truly enjoyed our visit to Cinque Terre and recommend La Terrazza wholeheartedly.

Amazing!!!!

The views!!!!!! This apartment and the views were AMAZING! I could have stayed there for two weeks. Communication was a breeze. The owner promptly refunded the refundable portion of my stay. I highly recommend the luggage transport. Best $20 I spent all vacation. According to my wife’s Apple Watch, it’s 15 flights of stairs to the villa. It’s one of the highest ones but the views are worth it! The villa was incredible but the balcony can’t be beat. We had several meals on our balcony. Even when it was raining thanks to the retractable awning. Simply incredible!

Amazing!

We only had 4 days in Manarola and wanted a place where we could see the water and feel like a local. This place did not disappoint! The apartment is cozy and clean with amazing terrace views of the town and the sea. Sunsets were fabulous. Be aware that the climb to the apartment is quite steep and may not be suitable for all persons. We found it very well worth the effort! Lorella, the property owner was wonderful and gave us great info on Manarola as well as the rest of the Cinque Terre. She also suggested a baggage service to get our luggage from the train station to the apartment. We HIGHLY recommend doing this as carrying or rolling bags the entire way would have been almost impossible! We hope to return soon to this little gem by the sea.
