"the apartment was very clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. A kitchenette forms part of the apartment. Massimo the owner, was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is only a few minutes walk from the historical centre. The only downside that we were at the second floor and there is no lift. A big plus Massimo's father runs the shop next door to the apartments and he is there from very early in the morning till late in the evening. "

"We arrived at the house and Massimo showed us the apartment that we were to stay in. At first it looked big enough but after a day we realised that it only had a bedroom and ensuite bathroom with a kitchen leading out onto a yard that had table and chairs, washing machine and a shower area. We realised we had no windows, only the light coming in from the glass windows on the doors. Apart from that the fixtures and fittings were ok. "Hotel moderno, habitaciónes comidas a 600 metros del centro histórico. La piscina y el gym son muy pequeños. La atención del personal es muy buena y con una sonrisa. Al momento del check el 5 de junio a las 11 am, la señorita que nos atendió fue super amabable, no así su compañero que estaba sentado a su lado en el front desk, que fue descortés. Pero fue la excepción. Alexandro por la noche super amable y atento también."

"Unfortunately, our stay was a little disappointing. Palazzo Columbo is an annex, away from all the hotel’s facilities, which was not made clear on either Expedia or the hotel’s own website. I’m also not convinced we received the room category we booked. The room had a broken toilet seat, and given the annex has only four rooms, basic amenities like a kettle and coffee maker should be provided. Breakfast was very underwhelming with tiny portions and poor quality a limit of three items, and even fresh juice costing an extra €5. It simply wasn’t good value. Service was inconsistent throughout. At check-in, I was incorrectly told I had booked room only, despite having paid for breakfast. At checkout, my request for help with luggage down a spiral staircase was reluctantly made because staff were busy, making reasonable requests feel like an inconvenience. The main buildings are beautiful, but the overall experience didn’t live up to the property’s appearance."

"The hotel is beautiful. The room was spacious, spotless, and recently renovated. The location is convenient, and the pool is very nice. Unfortunately, the breakfast was extremely limited, I’ve honestly never seen such a poor breakfast selection at a hotel of this level. The hotel also seems understaffed. From 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., there is absolutely no food or beverage service available, no lunch, no bar, nothing. There is a rooftop bar, but it only operates from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., which is a surprisingly short window. Overall, while the property itself is beautiful, the lack of food and beverage options and the limited service significantly impacted our stay."
