The place is very close to the natural bridge, (4mi) and close enough to Lexington as well. The rooms are a bit dated, the bed had a burn mark (non smoking room...?) and it allows pets. The room next door had a dog that kept barking every time I moved around my room. There are probably better options out there.

The staff was lovely but our room didn’t have conditioner and previous water was left in the champagne holder. We tried breakfast, biscuits and gravy, and my order was very cold/not edible. It was also very loud.

This was the first time staying and was very impressed with the place. The Loft was beyond our expectations. The town was nice and walkable to eating and outdoor space. We will be back the next time we go thru Salem, VA
