"Everything was absolutely lovely - the house was spacious, clean, and ideal. The only minor issue (which was somewhat rough coming in from the Americas) was that there was a dog barking and other animals making noise loudly into the night, but there are no fans or A/C, so the windows had to be open. There are no window screens and there were mosquitoes biting us and buzzing our ears... so it was a bit hard to sleep (especially with jet lag). "This hotel is the best in Gijón. Although an old property it is very well maintained with spacious rooms and bathrooms. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms have AC which is a plus in Europe and difficult to find operationally. We often go to Gijón and after many failed attempts, we found this centric beautiful place! Great job. "
