Rock Creek Vacations from $604

Beautiful, peaceful lakefront space with excellent amenities - bistro, nearby restaurant, sauna, pool, gym, hot tub

Our stay was last minute booking. Rates were $488./night The reception upon check-in was at best polite. The suite we were assigned to was large, clean but very dated. Parts were worn and and bifold doors were sticky. Towels and robes were rough. Coffee machine as with other appliances were dated. This was not a 4 star hotel. It was built in 2006 and little has been done to it since. There was not one comfortable chair to relax in with morning coffee... a hard sofa bed in living room, Beds dated but comfortable. The view looked out over the vineyards, lake and mountains was very nice. The restaurant has a cold atmosphere, the service was moderate and took a long time for food to come out of the kitchen and both of our meals were rather tasteless. We opted to dine elsewhere after. Can't fully recommend this resort. Great setting but lacks real professional hospitality.

This was tremendous value for the money. A complete renovation has just been completed, and it is very nice! Big modern rooms, spotlessly clean, good location near downtown and the beach. Although the breakfast was very basic it was enough to get me going for the morning. I would definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it.
