"The pictures do not do the Rhody House justice! It was such a charming, well equipped, and comfortable cabin, despite being in a remote area. The Rhody House is the perfect place to explore harder to get to places in North Cascades National Park, including the Cascade Pass area. We were very impressed with how fast the wifi was, and we loved how peaceful and quiet the cabin was. I can see why it stays booked up! We will definitely try to stay here again if we come back to the North Cascades area. Thanks to Steve for being such a fantastic host and sharing his amazing cabin with visitors! "

"We just wanted a quiet get away for a couple of days close to the North Cascades. We had hoped to see the fall foliage but it turned out we came a couple weeks early for the best of that. We stopped by the ranger station there in Darrington, and then drove up to Rockport and on to Newhalem to see what fall leaves we could. The cabin was quiet, clean and cozy. We loved sitting in the hot tub on the back deck and also sitting beside the Sauk River in the back of the property."

"This was my first time to North Cascades, Jays Salmon Run Retreat was a perfect fit for myself and my group. Was clean and came with many amenities. The host was easy to get ahold of and always returned my messages. The back yard was adorable. Wish there wasn't a fire ban or else we would have loved to have sit out there. I highly recommend this stay."

"This was an excellent property. It was quiet and secluded just as advertised. The hot tub was so clean, they even have sandals for you to walk down to the hot tub. There is a trail leading to a waterfall that is one of the prettiest trails we took on out trip. The host had a book that had information on everything in the cabin and of all the dining and hiking in the surrounding area. Wonderful stay! "

"Great spot for a two night stay and hiking at Heather Meadows. Nooksack River is a few steps from the condo and so cool to watch salmon spawning!! Two recreational buildings with pools and jacuzzis. Lots to do for families with kids. "
