"Ask we made our way up the rugged dirt road leading to this property, I sincerely had my doubts as to what I had booked. However, once we walked through the gate to the property it was like entering another world. The place is beautiful landscaped with a lovely pool and comfortable and tasteful lobby/ sitting areas. The rooms are very spacious and clean and tasteful. It is a bit of a hike into town but doable and the town of Tilcara is so quaint and genuine especially the restaurant La Picanteria on the square by the church that we ate at the three days we were there. The only thing this place could improve on was the breakfast which was adequate but nothing more. Offering eggs, even hard boiled ones would have been nice."

"After staying at the sister-hotel in Salta, we knew this Cafayate hotel would be lovely. This courtyard and dining areas were delightful, and the room was clean, sizeable and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and appreciated the responsiveness of the reception staff. Particularly, we were grateful for the staff's flexibility finding us a room for an extra night when a road closure elsewhere in Salta Province resulted in our need to extend our stay for a day."
