The property was clean. Breakfast was nice. I had trouble with the room assignment. I booked 2 queen beds and was given a King size bed. Two adults had to share the king bed instead of each having their own bed. There was no manager on site and we were told that one would not be available until 2 days later. I asked for a discount and was told only a manager could do that. Very frustrating. I was told that there was no phone number attached to my reservation so they couldn’t reach out and inform me of the change. Because I booked through a 3rd party and was told it was their responsibility to contact me. I did not receive a call. My only option was to cancel, but where would I have gone?

I had not visited the Ponds for 30 years. It has not gracefully aged. Condo unit has not been updated since it was built in the early 70s and it shows. Drafty and slightly damaged doors, slow drains in the bathrooms, furniture and rugs that show damage and age, and a clubhouse in need of updating. Front desk staff not very friendly or useful, odd because they don’t have a lot of foot traffic this time of the season. There are other similar facilities in the area that might be worth exploring versus this tired old place.

Such a lovely check in process with a complimentary upgrade. The king room was spacious and very clean with a nice comfy bed and pillows. Everyone at the front desk was super friendly, would return for sure!
