"This property was designed and built for Czech citizens. It is not a place for foreigners who are used to updated and elegant services. They have a buffet dinner server for 3 hours with limited options. Really everything here is designed for Czech Nationals and they seam to enjoy this place but it is not up to standards for your personal westerner. The place is designed in the soviet erra so it looks like a prison. But the views and area is absolutly outstanding"

19. Hotel Medlov Dependance

""Dependances" means the "old independent almost abandoned building", far from the main one where the reception and almost good rooms are. A kind of nightmare. The kind of place you feel like leaving at once, and you are waiting for the time of the departure. I succeeded to move to a room in the main building, and it was better. A little bit better. Everything is old, communist era fashion, and worse, all carpets are dirty, not by the fault of the cleaning ladies who make all they can, but...

Top Rojetín Hotel Reviews

Hotel D1

10/10 Excellent

"Tolles, sauberes Hotel mit netten Personal. Man bekommt, was man bezahlt."

Hotel Vista

8/10 Good

"Was here for business. Excellent place to stop off for this with a restaurant on site that sells good food. A short walk takes you to the No1 tram which takes you into Central Brno, so very convenient. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is clean. It's relatively basic, so I would not necessarily stop here for a long break of more than a couple of days"

Penzion Vanessa

8/10 Good

"The place provides affordable lodging with easy access to downtown but it is not a hotel. First of all when you first arrive if do not speak Czech and have a Czech phone, do not let your taxi/uber driver drive away. You won't be able to get in otherwise. The place is not staffed and you have to send a text message to get the inital access. Second, the rooms are tiny especially the one I was in reminded me of a cabin on a crew ship. Also my room was the only one located on the outside of the house in the backyard, and did not have wifi. On the other hand it was more private, which was nice. And finally people rent rooms there to have sex. It is not a bordel but can get noisy."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Rojetín?

The best area to stay in Rojetín is in the immediate vicinity of the village center, particularly around the main square.

This area offers a quiet, traditional Moravian village experience. You'll find a few local guesthouses and restaurants within walking distance, providing a convenient base for exploring the surrounding countryside. The village is small, so everything is easily accessible on foot.

For travelers seeking a peaceful retreat and access to outdoor activities, staying directly in Rojetín is ideal.

When is the best time to go to Rojetín?

The best time to visit Rojetín is during the spring (April-May) and fall (September-October) months, when the weather is pleasant and the region's natural beauty is at its peak.

During spring, the landscape around Rojetín comes alive with blooming wildflowers and lush greenery, making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking and cycling through the surrounding Moravian Karst Protected Landscape Area. The temperatures are mild, typically ranging from 50-70°F (10-21°C), which is comfortable for exploring without the intense heat of summer.

Fall offers a different kind of beauty, with the vineyards and forests displaying vibrant autumn colors. This season is particularly appealing for couples interested in wine tasting, as it coincides with the grape harvest in the South Moravian wine region. The weather remains agreeable, usually between 45-65°F (7-18°C), superb for leisurely strolls and enjoying local culinary experiences.

While summer (June-August) can be warm and sunny, it also attracts more crowds, especially to popular natural attractions.
