We had a fantastic 4 night stay at the Skostradet. Staff was quick to help with any request we had. Breakfast was a highlight each day. Our room was clean, quiet and spacious with a beautiful view. You cannot beat this location - central to everything we wanted to see! I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting Bergen.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel, with just one small complaint. The only downside was the 11:00 a.m. checkout. We arrived late the evening before, and unfortunately there wasn’t any flexibility for a later checkout. Personally, I think hotels should move toward a standard noon checkout whenever possible, especially for guests who arrive late. That would have made the experience even better. Everything else was excellent. Our room was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a classic, historic feel while still offering modern comforts. We also had a unique bonus window that made the room feel extra special and gave it a bit of a VIP atmosphere. The hotel itself is beautiful and couldn’t be in a better location. If you’re visiting Bergen and want to be within easy walking distance of the city’s most iconic sights and photo spots, this is the place to stay. We’d happily stay here again.
