"Quaint family run establishment in this lovely quiet area of France.
Rooms are cozy and comfortable and the husband and wife owners make you feel part of the family. An evening plat du jour meal is available and is always excellent and the local wine is a must.
Lots of wonderful walking is on your doorstep as well as around nearby Rouquebrun and the coast is not far away either. Also a perfect stopover on your way to/from the Spanish resorts."

"Located in the centre of the old village of Autignac, the La Coquillade - Gite is a quaint group of accommodations around a courtyard with central swimming / plunge pool. Parking was on street but safe and our apartment was accessed through a small door off the street and through a covered passageway that we referred to as "the cave". This was a cool spot where you could sit to avoid the extreme summer heat. Although described as a two bedroom apartment, the second "room" was only separated...

We visited the Chateau as part of a 10-day vacation to Spain and France and my husband and I both consider this our favorite hotel of the trip! Tucked away in quaint Autignac, the adorable village is easily walkable with beautiful vineyards just a short drive away.
The Chateau itself is both modern and comfortable, with a lovely and spacious back yard area featuring a pool, jetted jacuzzi and lounge chairs to soak in the relaxed atmosphere. After a strenuous travel schedule leading up to...

The Chateau lies gently uphill from the town center, and is a mid 19th century building beautifully restored and expanded on the the premises, which are surround by vineyards. Beautiful, calm, and beautifully cared for, our visit exceeded our expectations. The staff was knowlegable, spoke good English, and catered to our every need. Chateau Castigno is located in the absolutely stunning area completely picturesque. Two good restaurants in the village of Assignan including a great breakfast.. many others within a short driving distance. The cave is an architectural gem with a thoughtful caring winemaker at the helm. Delicious!
